THE BIG FUSS OVER KOURTNEY KARDASHIAN'S WEIGHT

America's favorite hated family, The Kardashian's, seems to always to be in the spotlight. Normally it is Kim, Khloe or Kylie making the news with their shenanigans but this time the outrage is for Kourtney Kardashian, the oldest of the clan. I know a lot of people hate this family but I love them. I love the Kardashian's and have been watching their show since it started. Some people look for anything to complain about, and usually I will go out to say "oh stop hating" but this time, it does seem as if they have a reason too this time. As much as I have love for Kourtney, she does seem to be a little bit too thin. Maybe that is the way she wants to be, and yes it is her own boy so she can choose what she wants it to look like but to me, and almost everyone else, she has gotten waaaay to slim. I have to give credit, she is a mother of three and her body bounces back after babies like a boomerang. She always had a slim body but maybe she went too far. Kourtne...

WHICH WORKOUT/FITNESS PROGRAM TO CHOOSE?

I have a habit of starting, but not completing something. In the past, I did complete the DVD by fitness mother and daughter duo, Lana and Ellen Ector, called "Black Girls Workout Too." Believe it or not, I saw results, it felt great to actually see them. Thing was, I was not for sure how much I weighed at because I didn't take measurements before and after but the results were very noticeable.  The results were apparent after only seven days of the program. Since I had results with BGWOT before, I may go that same route again. But I want something more challenging. Maybe I may do BGWOT in the AM and do something else in the evening after work.  Deciding on the evening workout will be the challenge. I could go with Fitness Blender workouts, or any of the Beach Body products. I tried Insanity in the past also and the muscle definition was there, yet it seemed as if I was not losing. I also tried the 21 Day Fix and loved the workouts. Just didn't stick to it ...

FITNESS IS MY BUSINESS

As women, we always worry about our weight, "I need to lose a few pounds," or "I am too skinny, I wish I could gain," or even, "I wish I had her curves." It never fails when it comes to our weight. Sigh. No matter what, we are never satisfied. Always comparing ourselves to the next woman's body. Most of it stems from what the world perceives as beautiful, or fit. Growing up, I was always toothpick thin; I dare not had one curve on my body. I went through being teased, called Olive Oyl to Gumby. Of course I laugh now, but at times it did hurt my feelings. So with that struggle to gain weight, in my twenties, I found ways that increased mass, I slowly started putting on weight and loved every minute of it. I got comfortable and laid off of the supplements for a while. Now that I hit a plateau years ago, I have constantly been gaining weight and trying hard to lose some of it. I'm not overweight, but not "satisfied" with where I am. In t...
