One of the best protective styles out there these days are Box Braids. Their trendy, stylish, versatile, and flexible in styling. You can even dress them up with accessories. I am not one to wear protective styles, but lately, Box Braids have been becoming  my best friend. @IAmIjanei  Wearing this easy to do protective style saves me a lot of time getting ready for the day. Aside from that, it gives your tresses a break from normal every day combing. I am the type of person who washes my hair at least once every other day, therefore, keeping these braids in longer than one week always is a challenge for me. Want to try something cute, quick, and easy to do? Well, this may work better for you than it did for me. I tried this previously and it came out perfect, but this time, it was a major fail, but I did find a way to make it still look cute and wearable in public. Check out this before picture... The hair is not combed after washing the day before. I had just worn it in a top bun the day prior. Me and my hair have this love/hate type of relationship. One minute it is the best in the world and the next, the most annoying thing ever. So since it was one of those "annoying" moments, I decided to do SOMETHING with it.  I decided to do six mini buns (wraparound buns also known as bantu knots). I gathered the products. Of course we all know that I am aware of the difference between hair, here, and hear. For goodness sake, I was an English major in high school, but that's beside the point. This summer has been one of epic humid proportions for the last few weeks. The heat wave came and pushed my edges to the point of out of control. What better day than Sunday to drool over some beautiful locks right? Well in case you have never heard of this beauty, you should get to know her gorgeous natural hair. Meet Georgia Reign, a celebrity singer and songwriter, who is also the girlfriend of comedian Michael Blackston. Ahh, every time I look on her instagram, she exhibits the definition of a Black Queen. Maybe it's just me, or it could be that her hair, her figure, and her naturally carved features are beyond the normal beauty. I love it. According to her instagram, she rocks her natural hair, switching between natural hairstyles with weaves, and her own textured tresses. In anyway it appears, it is nonetheless flawless. Lord I pray that when my hair grows back in, and without the use of heat this time around, my locks are just as thick as hers. (Oh yea, and the body hehe). Enjoy Her instagram: 

With all of the "grow your hair faster with this..." products that are out on the market, it is hard to decide on just one product that works for you. Of course there is always "trial and error" to assist you in finding the secret "growth aid" for your hair, but haven't you noticed most of the products contain the one ingredient needed to promote hair growth? Biotin Biotin or Vitamin H is needed for cell growth. Although there is no scientific PROOF that Biotin aids in faster hair growth, there is no denying that fact that it is indeed a growth aid for skin reproduction and nails.
