I started the week off with a fresh wash and deep conditioning treatment and boy does my hair feel great. Earlier today (Monday), I did not do anything with my hair at all. Okay, well I prepped my hair for a braid out tomorrow. I plan to have my braid-out turn out something like the image below. I want a nice, chunky braid-out like so. So in order to achieve this look, I decided to use Elasta QP Olive Oil and Mango Curling Butter . I also oiled my scalp with a homemade oil mix, and boy did it satisfy my scalp.  To begin, I brushed out my hair, separated into a top half and a bottom half to prepare to do a braid-out. Next I parted my hair and started plaiting my hair, not braiding. I put in several plaints and this is my result. Hopefully tomorrow my result turns out beautifully chunky. I logged on to twitter, which I do for entertainment only, and seen a tweet that had me cthu. I just thought I would share it with you all. He basically is saying: If Trinidad James can grow his hair out, why the hell can't other women? Lol I had to admit, he had a point.

We all remember her as Fancy on the Jamie Foxx show. I remember her because of her beauty. She always just had beautiful skin to me that I always wished I had. You know, that flawless clear skin. Well did you also know that she is Haitian? Of course you did. Anyway, I always loved her braidouts/twistouts. I tried to find her hair-care regimen and I mean I tried hard but for some reason, she doesn't really talk about her hair practices. Go figure. However, I did find a couple of picture of supposedly her "naked hair." Garcelle Beauvais seems to have relaxed hair, I could be mistaken but I doubt it. And it also appears her natural texture (judging from the images of her needing a bad touch-up), she seems to fall right into a type 4b. Either way, her hair stays gorgeous with extensions or without.
