DEAR DECEMBER: DAY 15

As I type this, I'm giving myself an oil treatment just using Shea Butter and Coconut Oil. Not sure how long I'm going to let it soak into my strands but I do know that I needed it. My hair was so dry, it soaked the oil right up. Now the big question is, am I going to shampoo afterwards, or go straight to conditioner and wait another week before shampooing? Hmm... Then, if I do shampoo after, am I going to try roller-setting? am I going to dry wrap like I have done in the past? or am I going to wear it naturally curly? Decisions, decisions, decisions. PRODUCT REVIEW: Olive Miracle Moisturizer Lotion

My sister actually gave this moisturizer to me because she knows I am always preaching "moisture, moisture, moisture" for our hair. I can't tell if it is working yet or not, but I can tell you that the smell is pleasant. This lotion is not too thick and not to thin, it's like the perfect combination to run through your hair smoothly and evenly.  I mostly use as a leave-in conditioner. HOMEMADE FIXTURES THAT WORK

Let’s face it; most of America is not in the financial class of having extra money to buy expensive hair products. So how can we cut this cost down? The answer is simple. Create treatments from the comfort of our own kitchen at little to no cost at all. The point is, we could save ourselves so much money if we used home remedies to fix everyday hair problems. There are plenty of ways to fix whatever problem you’re having with just a simple at home recipe.
