SUNDAY-STYLING: 5 HAIRSTYLES FOR THOSE LAZY DAYS

We all have those days where we just honestly do not feel like doing anything, let alone the hair on our head. Well I found a few quick and easy styles that I have done myself or have found roaming the internet as I do daily. Half-up/Half-down : The all time never fail look. It does not matter the length of your hair, you could have recently big chopped to nothing more than a TWA and this look will definitely work for you. Since my big chop, I have done this style. You can even accomplish this style in permed, natural, crochet, box braids, dreads, nappy, kinky, silky or whatever kind of texture/style your hair is in. Very easy, less than five minutes to do and very cute Top bun : Okay, now the easiest of them all is the infamous bun. Funny thing about a bun is that you can dress a bun up in anyway or fashion to make it look different. You can even put a part in it. The time it takes to make a bun depends on the look you are going for. If your hair is too short for a bun, you ca...

MARCH MADNESS: DAY 11

I DO NOT LIKE THE WAY I AM WEARING MY HAIR TODAY. Unfortunately, I'm stuck like this because I am heading into work, with no time to fix it. UGH!

MARCH MADNESS: DAY 5

Basically, I went off of the style I did yesterday. Braid in the front, but this time, a banana clip in the back. I oiled my scalp because it was itchy, but other than that, I did nothing at all.

DEAR DECEMBER : DAY 19 - 24

Day 19 through 21: Okay, oil rinsed Wednesday night, and dry wrapped hair again. I wore the following styles all week. Saturday, I washed and conditioned. After letting hair air dry over night, I decided to flat iron. It came out beautifully. I made sure I used heat protectant as always. So no complaints over here. ETA: Okay well day 23 was pure hell for me. First I OD on Nyquil. So I was extra drowsy. Plus it was rainy outside all day, so I was just miserable. Now to complete this messed up day, I went left work, headed to my car that was parked down the block to find this: A DAMN FLAT TIRE. IN THE RAIN. WITH THIS FRESHLY FLAT IRONED HAIR. AAAAHHHH. I looked a pure mess afterwards. All that time flat ironing went to waste. So I am here tonight as I type this update, re-flat ironing. Don't worry, this is my last time flat ironing for a while. My friend, who is natural, did not flat iron her hair for a whole year and finally did it for Christma...

DEAR DECEMBER: DAY 5

Last night I decided to follow my routine to do a two strand twist out, following the routine from here . Products used: Curls unleashed jelly Shea Butter Comb Brush If everything goes as planned upon take down, I plan to wear my hair similar to this: I will unveil the results later on. So far this no heat/ 30 days of healthy hair practices are going easy for me.

DEAR DECEMBER DAY 3

For day 3, again, I didn't do much. I had a hard time trying to figure out how to style it but I ended up using a quarter size amount of Profectiv Hair Lotion. I Then left out a small section of hair for a front hump/bang. With the rest of the hair, I brushed back into a banana clip.  Since I combed the hair from the braidout, the banana clip  was hard to close, but I made it happen. I then twisted sections of the hair in the banana clip into two strand twists, pinning them around the banana clip. It actually came out really cute.

STEPPING OUT? WELL TRY THIS STYLE

Tired of that same old hair style when going out with friends? Well, I did a little something different this weekend. I just "shook" my hair and pinned it back. It came with a nice, feathered look with a hump in the front and a banana clip. It's simple, fast, and a nice protective style with low manipulation. Give it a try. You will love the finished look

Something a Little Different.

I love doing quick, little-cute like styles in my hair. I love the versatility that it carries. So I tried something new this past week and absolutely love it. First I had to Deep Condition my hair because it was way over due. I also knew that I was going to the beach with my other half so I had to get moisture into my hair before hand. I usually deep condition with Dr. Miracle's packet or that ORS replenishing packet. I deep condition under a cap with at least 45 minutes depending on what I feel like doing to my hair. The Dr. Miracle packet has a tingling effect once left on and continues even after you wash it out. It makes the hair so soft that you can just run your fingers through without any tangles or curles getting stuck. After washing out the deep conditioner, blot your hair dry. I put together a photo show my usual process for this type of style I am doing. Blot hair until water is not dripping. Apply leave in conditioner and some oil onto hair, rub it through,...
