IN THE NEWS: WOMAN CHARGE WITH DEATH OF BOYFRIEND AFTER HE COMMITS SUICIDE

Wow, I thought I heard almost everything there is out there, except this tale.

Girlfriend, Michelle Carter (17 at the time) is on trial this week in Massachusetts for allegedly urging urging her boyfriend, Conrad Roy III (18) to kill himself via text messages that were discovered after his death.

It's been three years since Roy was found dead inside of his pick-up truck in a KMart parking lot due to Carbon Monoxide poisoning. What is interesting and very deceiving is Michelle pretended to be grieving by posting messages on social median and even raising money in Roy's name to bring awareness to mental health.

Waiving her right to a jury,
Michelle Carter's fate lies in the hands of Juvenile Court Judge Lawrence Moniz. There is no law regarding encouraging someone into death in Massachusetts but the prosecution says Michelle's words led to the death of Roy. However, defense attorney, Joseph Cataldo insists that Roy has been contemplating suicide for year.

"It was Conrad Roy's idea to take his own life. It was not Michelle Carter's idea," Cataldo said AP reported. "This was a suicide, a sad and tragic suicide, but not a homicide."

Cataldo said Carter was also struggling with mental health and was taking medication that may have affected her decision-making, AP reported. Which is also the reason as to why Carter did not call police, or any family members while "coaching" Roy to complete the mission.

'You need to do it, Conrad'
"You're ready and prepared. All you have to do is turn the generator on and you will be free and happy,"
"No more pushing it off. No more waiting."
It was even discovered in the texts messages that Roy was having second thoughts but Carter sent another message.
"...get the f*** back in the car."
She even tells Roy how to do it peacefully.

"If you emit 3200 ppm of (carbon monoxide) for five or ten minutes you will die within a half hour," .... "You lose consciousness with no pain. You fall asleep and die."
Carter was indicted in February 2015. Her trial is being watched by law students, scholars, and practicing lawyers as this just may become more popular with social media being a way of the world now.

TRUMP TWEETS A MESSAGE FOR AMERICANS AMID DACA SCANDAL

With the rest of the United States still trying to come to grips with the devastation that occurred one week ago in Texas by Hurricane Harvey, Trump takes to twitter and gives a labor day tweet for Americans. That may not seem like a big deal but for about 800,000 DACA recipients, it comes as a slap in the face. What is DACA? DACA stands for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. It's American immigration policy founded by former president, Barack Obama in June 2012. DACA allows certain illegal immigrants who entered the country as minors, to receive a renewable two-year period of deferred action from deportation and eligibility for a work permit. Well, "All-American" president, Donald Trump, wants to do away with the program as he feels America should be ran by Americans. Meaning, only American items to be made by American workers. That's interesting, considering numerous women Trump has been with and married to did not come to this country born American

HAIR OF THE DAY: BROOKE BAILEY

For those of you wondering if this is all of Brooke Bailey's hair.....I can let all of the inquiring minds know that YES, this is indeed her real hair, and not only is this her real hair, she is also natural.  She was asked on twitter if she perms or presses her hair out with a hot comb. She had responded by saying @brookebaileyinc LOL ...  I don't perm or press my hair. In this pic I washed it and let it air dry.  It seems as if she always had beautiful hair. Her hair is absolutely gorgeous and looks very healthy. Her natural haircare line (in which she uses for her hair) will be launched shortly. I guess I may have to give it a try. Considering how shiny her hair looks, it can't be that bad. (Click to enlarge images)
