BENEFITS OF LEAVE-IN CONDITIONERS

Although I do not use leave-in conditioners regularly, I do have a few in the stash just in case I wear a wash and go that I don't feel like re-wetting. Instead I will wet the already outdated wash-n-go, then apply the leave-on conditioner. It keeps the old wash-n-go manageable, soft, and moisturized. It also gives my curls a more defined look.

Leave-in conditioners are exactly that – conditioners that are left in and are NOT washed out of the hair. Most of the leave-in conditioners are designed to be absorbed by the hair and are formulated as lightweight creams or lotions, or as liquids which can be sprayed onto the hair. I personally have not tried the liquid leave-in but have experience with the lotions and creams. I love both of those because it feels as if it is coating my strands better. These spray-on conditioners offer the benefit of being able to target the portions of the hair that need the most extra conditioning/protection – (example: the ends of the hair, the top of the head only are just a few targeted areas.

Leave in conditioners smooth the hair cuticle and strands making it shiny and bouncy without heavy oils. Regular conditioners have heavier oils and waxes in them so if you don't rinse them away they make the hair look stringy or greasy. Leave in conditioner, helps in the winter when dry indoor air makes the hair dry and lifeless. It can also  be used on natural hair to help prevent tangles when combing.

There is such a thing as too much conditioner, and you'll know when the hair looks limp, lifeless and kind of oily. Nothing bad happens to the hair, it just looks stringy, dark and lifeless. If this happens just wash your hair with a clarifying or deep cleansing shampoo.

According to Total Beauty, the top 8 leave-in conditioners are:

NO. 8: BUMBLE AND BUMBLE LEAVE IN CONDITIONER, $23

NO. 7: HERBAL ESSENCES NONE OF YOUR FRIZZNESS SMOOTHING LEAVE-IN CREME, $3.99

COMEDIAN, EDDIE MURPHY HAS NINE CHILDREN

One of my favorite comedians is Eddie Murphy, but did you know that Eddie Murphy is more than just a comedian, he's a father of nine. Did you hear that, NINE children with five different women, five of nine children are with ex-wife, the super-beautiful, Nicole Mitchell-Murphy. Eddie makes beautiful offspring nonetheless. Eddie has three sons: Eric Murphy, Christian Murphy, and Myles Murphy. And six daughters: Bria Murphy, Shayne Murphy, Zola Murphy, Bella Murphy, Angel Iris Murphy Brown, and Izzy Murphy. Paulette Murphy Eric Murphy Eric Murphy is the son with Paulette McNeely. There aren't any pictures of Paulette or none taken with Eddie so that is a mystery in itself BUT I happen to stumble upon her picture and her work place from a source close to Eddie. Paulette works as a Medical Aesthetician & Body Contouring Expert. ________________________________ Christian Murphy is the son with Tamara Hood. It was said that Tamara Hood was to be cast in VH1's ...

BLAC CHYNA GIVES BIRTH DURING MANNEQUIN CHALLENGE

So everyone is doing the new video challenge called, The Mannequin, where everyone freezes in the video. So Blac Chyna thought it would be cool to do it while being in labor. Hmmm... Okay, well not literally. However, shortly afterwards, Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian welcome a beautiful baby girl, Dream Kardashian, into the world on November 10th. Of course social media didn't tell well to the name, Dream, but I like it. It's different. I mean, people have to take into consideration that baby Dream was not born into just an average family, but a family of Kardashian's with a cousin named "North-West", a brother that is also a step-cousin (I think ??), then an aunt, who is actually a step-mom...?? Okay, that's neither here nor there but you get the point. Usually, babies are born into that awkward phase where they look like no one in particular, yet everyone at the same time. At least in my eyes, Dream favors first-time daddy, Robert Kardashian. Wh...

TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY: FLY TATTED SKY

Do you watch Black Ink NY? If so, did you notice how Sky's confidence level went to over "a hunnit" after she got the plastic surgery she has been dyin gto get. I mean she always had an outgoing personality, but now "it's all the way up." Congrats to Sky and that new body. What I love is that she didn't go too overboard like most people with injections/implants. Before : After:
