I wore the wig to work last week and they loved it. Unfortunately, I developed a headache and did not wear it afterwards. I think I may have braided my hair too tight then applied the clips to the braid which was pulling my hair up. Manly I have been wearing my hair just in regular buns or braid out like before. Since March is over now, I am not sure if I want to straighten my hair or not. I may extend it until a later date and get it professionally straightened, not sure yet. But I will keep you posted.  I am proud to say that I have completed my March Madness No Heat Challenge. Yay me.

Alright, soooo the wig thing is just not for me. Maybe if I found a human hair one that looked beyond great on me, I would rock it but for now, no thank you. For this week, everyday, I have been wearing my hair in a fabulous braid out that I have been doing on unwashed hair. The last time I washed my hair was two weeks ago this upcoming Sunday. Each night before I go to bed, I braid hair into five long cornrows. Not too tight, and not too loose. The ends I roll up into each other and secure with a bobby pin. I have been getting so many compliments that I think I will wear this same style next week. The rate this is going, I may extend this "NO HEAT CHALLENGE" until April 12th. Who knows. I bought a wig yesterday. YIKES! I never wore a wig before, only weaves, so this is all new to me. When I first put it on, I thought it looked real "wiggy" so I made a few adjustments. Since this is a synthetic wig I bought from the local BSS, I have to do a few more alterations to make it look good on me. I already added a few extensions in, now I'm going to do this "powder" trick to get rid of the shine. It was also longer, I cut it down. Here is a set of pictures of the beginning to what it looks like now. Please do not laugh or judge, I didn't "make" myself up, I was just experimenting with the wigs, lol (In order, as you can see the small adjustments I made to fit my face. I'm still not satisfied but this will be my protective style for this week.)

Don't laugh, it actually came out nice. I wore a ponytail overnight, so when I took it down in the morning, it was a little stretched out. So I braided the front half into a loose french braid, then I  fluffed up the back. Unfortunately I did not get a clear image of the front. Sorry

This hair was a mess on this day. Sigh! But I made it do what it do and put it into the old flip bun

I wore four big bantu knots overnight, then unleashed them the next morning. I liked this look. Hair is stretched during the bantu knoting. Still not heat applied

I wore something simple. I wet wrapped my hair after co-washing and it came out so damn bushy, I had no choice but to side braid it into something like the image below Except, mine didn't turn out so neat. So yea....sigh*  Major FAIL today

I DO NOT LIKE THE WAY I AM WEARING MY HAIR TODAY. Unfortunately, I'm stuck like this because I am heading into work, with no time to fix it. UGH!

Wore two braids for the day, then I took them out to go to the market. I didn't do much but fluff them out a little bit. After an hour and a half trip to the market, I came back home and put the two braids back in my hair. To answer your question, NO I COULD NOT GO OUT OF THE HOUSE looking like that. lol

It has been a long time coming. Despite all the accusations of Nicki never showing her hair with a "proper" length check, she actually showed her hair in wet pics. I didn't know people could be in so much of an uproar of a "real hair" pic that does not show a person's face, arm tat, boobs, or whatever else. I mean I understand you want proof but damn is it REALLY that serious? This was the image Nicki uploaded of her real hair and people went wild saying it was not hers. After that fiasco, for a video shoot, Nicki released additional images of her hair, and yet people still insisted she was not revealing her natural hair, although evidence points to it being all of hers since there is no lumps, or abnormal look to the hair.
